We at Ramagya, believe in going beyond the academics and encourage students to be an active part of the various co-scholastic activities that are organized at the school from time to time. To help us in doing so, different clubs have been formed in the school, which cater to diverse interests and activities. Mentioned below are some of the clubs :

Orator’s Podium

‘Speech’, they say, is the best gift from God to the human race. Being social creatures, the ability to communicate with the world is something that makes us unique amongst all other creations of God. It enables us to express our emotions and thoughts, share our ideas and develop new relationships. Ramagya offers a platform to the students where they can curb their stage fright and can express themselves.

Dance

Dance is more than the exploring of different ways to make a shape or learning a series of steps to music; it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication. Ramagya is taught that through dance, they learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills.

Music

Music can bring people in our world together in many ways. Whether it be through the same taste in music, or the willingness to try something new or even performing music with others. Ramgyans are taught that music can raise their mood, get them excited, or make them calm and relaxed. Music also allows them to feel nearly or possibly all emotions that they experience in their lives… It is an important part of their lives and fills a need or an urge to create music.

Best out of Waste

Ramgayans know that making the best out of waste has been a part of human life since the early ages. It was the human creative mind that gave birth to this extraordinary idea of using unwanted material in a useful way. In today’s world recycling has a very important place. There are a lot of things around that are labeled as a dump. But the irony is that most of the dump collected is useful for others if recycled. Teachers play a significant role in nurturing the value of environmental protection and conservation among students through creative craft activities like ‘Best out of Waste’.

Theatre

Theatre is an elitist art form. It is expensive, you have to leave your house for it and it presents complex ideas and themes to make its audiences think. Going to the theatre provides the opportunity to the Rmagyans to gather together and explore the human condition. By sharing common cultural threads of the classics, drawing light to complex issues, providing catharsis and promoting imagination, theatre’s role in contemporary society is one of subtle power.

Photography

Photography is an art which can be done in several ways to enhance the beauty and charm of the events. It must be accurate and perfectly done shot to capture the emotions and moments which cannot be expressed by words but can be felt by pictures and snaps, and the same is taught to the Ramgayans with mirth.

Eco Club

At Ramagya Eco clubs play an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. It is a platform where we get knowledge about the environment. It also enables the students to be sensitive to environmental concern to tackle environmental problems.

Quiz

To reinvent the education system and give students a break from traditional classroom learning, Ramagya believes that there is a dire need to revive the quiz culture in school. Besides the obvious academic benefits of expanding a student’s knowledge and exploring new skills at an early age, quizzes redefine the education system in significant ways.

IT

At Ramagya, teachers effectively integrate technology into subject areas, teachers grow into roles of adviser, content expert, and coach. Technology helps make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun. Students are also able to collaborate with their own classmates through technological applications.

Yoga

It Boosts Self-Esteem and Confidence: Yoga helps to instill confidence and to bring learning to children on an experiential level. Yoga teaches them to persevere, be patient, and work towards their goals. Yoga also provides tools for practicing compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength, and flexibility and hence it is a club at Ramagya for the betterment of the students.

Meditation

Teaching meditation at Ramagya school will help students know how to manage stress such as exam stress, concentrate and establish clarity of the mind. It also helps cope with other pressures such as violence at home as well as helping them appreciate life in general.

Chess

This club at Ramagya helps with the development of problem-solving skills, planning, patience, the focus of thought and self-discipline. Chess is a competitive activity, but, good sportsmanship and fair play are taught as essential elements of the game. Chess is a one-against-one activity, however, teamwork is also an important element.

NCC

Students often join the National Cadets Corps at Ramagya, where they are given basic education to high-level military training, which helps them in finding out whether they are suitable to pursue nations’security as their career in the future.

Astronomy

Astronomy attracts young people to science and technology and at Ramagya astronomy can be enjoyed as a hobby. Amateur astronomers can continue to do science beyond school, and make important contributions to astronomical education and research. Students later can also provide important grass-roots support for astronomy.

III Lang

Foreign languages provide a competitive edge in career choices: one is able to communicate in a second language. Foreign language study at Ramagya enhances listening skills and memory. The study of a foreign tongue improves the knowledge of one’s own language.

Dramatics

Drama is an important tool for preparing students to live and work in a world that is increasingly TEAM-ORIENTED rather than hierarchical. Drama training at Ramagya also helps students develop TOLERANCE and EMPATHY. … In addition to its intrinsic educational value, Rama can REINFORCE the rest of the school curriculum.

Sculpting

Sculpting helps the Ramagyan develop their artistic abilities. Sculpting also helps the students develop their manipulative skills. They learn how to associate three-dimensional shapes and objects to make an art piece. They also learn how to shape anything that is even more useful than its present form.
