Let's Skill Up!
The Learning and Development (L&D) department of Ramagya School has the purpose of providing training and education to students and other stakeholders on socio-emotional topics that are relevant to lifespan development, such as adolescence, puberty, child safety, and bullying. The department achieves this through mass training programs, class counseling, and one-on-one counseling.
Ramagya School recognizes the importance of L&D programs in enhancing the performance and satisfaction of all its stakeholders, including students, parents, and teachers. These programs contribute to creating a positive work culture and boosting morale.
To this end, the L&D department conducts training and awareness programs for the holistic development of students, teachers, and parents. These programs aim to motivate and engage students and teachers by increasing productivity, creating a value-based culture, and building 21st-century skills recommended by CBSE for each class. The training includes stress management programs, mental health campaigns, awareness seminars on POCSO and POSH, cyber security, parenting workshops, gender sensitivity, sessions on online gaming, and its downsides, controlled screen time, study skills, and time management.
The departments of the Training and Counseling cell collaborate to identify common themes found through counseling, and L&D aims to address them at a mass level. The workshops are not limited to students but extend to teaching and non-teaching staff. For the faculty, the L&D program includes topics such as POSH, stress management, Yoga, mindfulness, and overall mental health assessment. Additionally, workshops are conducted for parents on sensitization and raising awareness about neurodivergence.
The goal of L&D is to work with a mass audience and address socio-cultural factors that impact student well-being. Ramagya School aims to facilitate the development and growth of informed youth by acknowledging and addressing all relevant factors.
